Manchester United legend Gary Neville believes the only thing that can stop Chelsea is injuries to key players

Chelsea’s biggest challenge this season
will be how they cope with inevitable
injuries across the campaign, according
to Gary Neville.
Antonio Conte’s side have won 11
straight league games and go into the
festive period at least seven points clear of
their nearest rivals.
Neville insists the Blues have all the
ingredients of a title-winning side, and
says the only thing that could stop the
club’s charge is damaging injuries to key
players.
The Manchester United legend said on the
Gary Neville podcast: ‘Everything looks
right. The goalkeeper is solid and
composed, he doesn’t look rushed.
‘They’ve got the special players who can
turn games like [Eden] Hazard and [Diego]
Costa.
‘And to add to that an experienced
manager who has won titles in different
countries.
‘They’ve put themselves in such a strong
position. The only thing I think can stop
Chelsea at this moment in time would be
a significant loss of form, but I think
injuries is the main challenge for them.’
Neville, 41, added: ‘They look so well
drilled and confident. The test is injuries
to potentially those star players but at the
moment they are setting the standard.’
Chelsea host Bournemouth on Boxing
Day and welcome Stoke City to Stamford
Bridge on New Year’s Eve.
