Premier League leaders Chelsea travel to the Etihad
Stadium looking to extend their one-point lead over
Manchester City in the title race.
And Toure believes Antonio Conte's side have an
advantage over City due to their lack of European
football in midweek.
Pep Guardiola's men will have to keep an eye on
their Champions League Group C clash with Celtic
three days after their game with Chelsea.
Yaya Toure says Antonio Conte's Chelsea has an
advantage over Manchester City
"It's going to be a tough game on Saturday, that's
for sure,” Toure said. "They definitely have an
advantage. It's difficult to play midweek and then
the weekend after.
"Sometimes with the European schedule we play on
a Wednesday, like this week, and then a Saturday.
It's sometimes tough to be focused and in these
kind of games, you have to prepare well to
compete."
Toure suggests Chelsea's absence in Europe also
gives the west London club an advantage in battle
for the Premier League title.
Manchester City face Celtic three days after
Chelsea game
"To be honest it's Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal,
Tottenham, Manchester United," Toure added.
"The league this year is unpredictable and it's going
to be decided in the last two or three months this
year.
"When you are a top player and you only play once
a week - like the Chelsea players, they only play
once a week - it's easier to play well, it's easier to
recover well and easier to take full advantage."
